Happy Thanksgiving everyone! As we head into the one day where no one will judge us for over-eating and having our bellies hang over our jeans, we wanted to share our final segment of what we are thankful for. As we have said countless times, we are so appreciative of the many wonderful vendors that we have met in this business. When we are not working with brides, we absolutely love working with other individuals in the wedding industry to create styled shoots. These are a great way for us local vendors to collaborate on an event and to showcase our talent in hopes of getting published into wedding blogs, magazines, etc. I am always honored when a fellow "friend-or" (friends that are vendors) asks us to be a part of their beautiful "vision". I rarely will turn down the opportunity(sometimes time just doesn't permit :( ), because it really is just that, a wonderful opportunity to get your name out there in such a fun way. So many of these loyal vendors will come back to us for several shoots, and its amazing to see their ideas unfold right in front of the camera. I am oh so thankful for all of our local vendors and admire how we are always helping each other, be it through referrals or just shooting ideas back and forth.
So in order to say thank you to our wonderful wedding industry friends, we chose to share this suite that we completed last year for a stylized shoot designed by As You Wish, and photographed at The Hermitage Museum and Gardens by Tara Liebeck Photography.
We loved created this bohemian styled invitation suite, complete with an ikat pattern in bright boho colors, finished off with hemp twine and a pennant-style tag.
In order to highlight the beautiful "naked" cake designed by Patti Cakes, Inc, we created this cake sign that complements the invitation suite and the overall aesthetic of the styled shoot.
And one more close-up of the invitation for ya on this gloomy Tuesday. Check out all of the images from the shoot at http://asyouwishva.com/portfolio-items/bohemian-romance/.
We hope you enjoyed! Thank you so much to all of our dear friends in this industry! We hope everyone has a wonderful and safe Thanksgiving! xoxoxo
